#PRINCEofPEACE

Michael and I went to Bountiful to spend Easter with my Family which is always a good time. Easter always means Spring is here and that I've made it through yet another winter (I hate snow. And cold.)

I want to write my thoughts and my personal testimony of my Savior Jesus Christ. Becuase of his Atoning Sacrifice, I have a lot of hope for my future in this life and beyond. I love the lyrics to this song. It perfectly describes why I am grateful for Him.

He is the One

He can make the ocean dry, he can stay the setting sun.
Creator of the Earth and sky, He is the one.
He can tame the raging wind, make the mountains tremble.
Master of miracles, He is the one.

He is the one who carves my heart into smoother stone.
He is the one that gives me strength when I am too weak to move on.
He's everything I need, mighty power and holy peace.
He is the one.

He can calm the restless soul, he will save the fallen stranger.
A refuge where my heart can go, He is the one.
He offers saving grace in a world that offers none.
And I will live to sing his praise. He sees me for what I can become.

He is the one who carves my heart into smoother stone.
He is the one that gives me strength when I am too weak to move on.
He's everything I need, mighty power and holy peace.
He is the one.

During Easter weekwnd, we dyed and foiled eggs. As you can see, only the "E" survived of my name because it was a trickier proccess than expected.

One of the funniest/best things about the weekend was that Emma planned a 'tea party' for us to have on Easter, but only Me, Kenley, and Dallin were invited. We made some "tea" which consisted of mystery leaves found in the garden, boiled in water with lemon juice and honey. We are pretty sure they weren't poisonous; at least I'm still alive right now. Also, we are pretty sure the mystery leaves were lemon basil. We had finger sandwiches, cheeto puffs, and frozen chocolate dipped banana pops. And this all went down about an hour before Easter dinner.

I'm grateful for the beautiful weather and time spent with family. It was a much needed break to get me through to summer. Now, only about a month left of school days!

Dallin

Last week I took some of Dallin's senior pictures while on spring break with my family in Moab. I can't even believe this handsome boy is so old! He'll be coming to Provo this summer to attend BYU and be leaving on a mission soon after. I can't even believe it 😭 #proudsis
